Welcome Inside.‍ ‍

Origionally built in the 1600s as a farmhouse , the Royal Oak was later converted to farm workers cottages . Around the 1850’s it then became a beerhouse . Nearly 160 years later the pub still maintains its character with handstone walls , flag stone floors and solid oak beams.

With a large private car park , whether you visiting from neary or travelling from further afield , there is ample space to park comfotably.

Our very own vegetable patch allows us to grow fresh produce right here at the pub , bringing fresh ingredients from our garden to your plate . Its our way of keeping our food fresh , local and keeping quality at the heart of what we serve.
